EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT VBG MFC SYSTEM

A complete VBG MFC system is always delivered factory-fitted with coupling and drawbeam, and comes with an installation kit and electric cabling.

Basic requirements for installing VBG MFC systems.

In order for VBG MFC to function in your vehicle, the coupling must obtain the truck’s wheel-based speed via CAN bus. This information is retrieved from the truck’s bodybuilder unit (often called FMS CAN or SAE J1939).

HOW DO I INSTALL MY MFC SYSTEM?

You can choose between underslung installation, for which you can choose from two different coupling mounting heights, or central frame installation.

Underslung installation is done with VBG Drawbeam CMS-MFC

Central installation is done with VBG Drawbeam AMS-MFC

Which drawbar system can I use for my MFC system?

When choosing the optimal drawbar for your MFC system, you have two choices:

For haulage vehicles and tankers, we recommend the VBG Multi XF drawbar system.

The VBG Optimal drawbar system is ideal for hook-lift trailers where it is necessary to reverse over the drawbar.

For dollies, there are two options for drawbar heads.
